Rick Tobin of Luna Gold Art
Rick Tobin is a digital artist, writer, photographer, musician, and podcaster living in San Antonio, Texas. His works are found on the Internet, under his name, and Luna Gold Art, including almost 100 flash science fiction stories published at 365 Tomorrows. His novels, poetry, and music lyric books are available on Amazon.
Rick is retired from a long career in disaster management and counter-terrorism planning. He shares his life with his infamous cat Petunia, well-known because of her story posted online.
Rick became a widower after the passing of Cinda, his wife of 45 years, in 2022. His emergence as a unique and prolific artist has been renewed by a new love in his life. Rose brings him uplifting support each day to share his vast archive of works he could not share for decades while tending to his wife's failing health. She also has become his muse to produce an ever-growing library of amazing creations.
The greatest fulfillment in his life is his son Ryan, in San Diego--a successful and supportive force that has made much of Rick's emergence possible through his generous involvement, along with Chris Marinez, Ryan's childhood pal who became a second son to Rick and Cinda. Chris has become a mentor for building this website.
Rick's intention and deepest hope is that many will find his works worthy of purchase to use for their projects and personal enjoyment as a legacy to Rick's creative ventures.
